Georgia reports 2,515 new cases of Covid of 32,207 tests

Georgia has reported 2,515 new cases of coronavirus out of 32,207 tests conducted in the past 24 hours.

 

2,829 individuals have recovered and 60 others have died from the virus in the reported period, while active cases stand at 27,398. 

 

Georgia has had 587,551 cases of coronavirus since February 2020. 

 

551,780 of the 587,551 individuals have recovered, while 8,347 have died so far. 

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi - 869, Imereti - 393 and Adjara regions - 159. 

 

More than 5,700 Covid-19 patients are in hospitals and more than 1,300 in Covid-hotels. 

 

The remaining majority are at home who suffer mild forms of the virus. 

 

1,561,228 individuals have received their one dose of the coronavirus vaccine since March 2021, while 641,352 are fully vaccinated.
