Georgia reports 2,016 new cases of Covid, active cases stand at 23,925

Georgia has reported 2,016 new cases of coronavirus of 29,798 tests, 2,024 recoveries and 43 deaths in the last 24 hours. 

 

23,925 people remain infected with Covid-19 in the country as of today.

 

567,797 of the 600,412 patients have recovered from coronavirus in Georgia since February 2020, while 8,664 have died from the virus.

 

Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi - 708, Adjara and Imereti regions - 289. 

 

1,686,412 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, out of which 729,995 people have been fully vaccinated.

 

More than 5,000 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals currently, while more than 17,000 are at home.
