Asian Development Bank allocates $15mln loan for Georgia’s vaccination goals

Asian Development Bank (ADB) has allocated a 15 million USD loan to support the Georgian government to ensure its vaccination goals - buy coronavirus vaccines and other necessary medical inventory.

The bank says that the funds will allow the country to buy about 700,000 doses of vaccine.

The loan comes on the heels of recent warnings of Georgian health officials that thousands of Pfizer vaccines may spoil because of the dropped rate of vaccination in the country.
