Covid daily cases, deaths still high in Georgia

Georgia has reported 4,446 new cases of coronavirus of 50,026 tests, 5,320 recoveries and 77 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

 

51,662 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of now.

 

The country has confirmed 800,293 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 737,316 patients have recovered and 11,289 have died from the virus.

 

The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi - 1,646 cases 

Adjara - 190 cases 

Imereti - 819 cases

Kvemo Kartli - 298 cases 

Shida Kartli - 422 cases 

Guria - 117 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 387 cases 

Kakheti - 315 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 90 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 144 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 58 cases

6,505 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 43,987 others are at home.

 

45,081 individuals are in self isolation. 

 

2,074,270 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  973,796 have been fully vaccinated.
