Coronavirus in Georgia: daily cases at 4,100, 45,799 remain infected with Covid-19

Georgia has reported 4,100 new cases of coronavirus of 51,749 tests, 3,397 recoveries and 67 deaths in the past 24 hours. 


45,799 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of now.


The country has recorded 857,933 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 799,850 patients have recovered, while 12,258 have died from the virus.


The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows: 

Tbilisi - 1,658 cases 

Adjara - 189 cases 

Imereti - 675 cases

Kvemo Kartli - 247 cases 

Shida Kartli - 401 cases 

Guria - 111 cases 

Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 302 cases 

Kakheti - 252 cases

Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 102 cases

Samtskhe-Javakheti - 134 cases

Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 29 cases


6,550 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 38,122 others are receiving treatment at home.


1,175,379 individuals have got at least one shot of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which  1,005,740 have been fully vaccinated.
