Stoltenberg: threats exist Russia to re-use force against Georgia, Ukraine

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg says that Russia has already used force against Georgia and Ukraine and that threats still exist for Russia to repeat the same.

In an interview for CBS Stoltenberg said that the alliance should be ready for this to happen.

He says that NATO must send clear messages that if Russia decides to do the same, it faces severe economic and political consequences.

Stoltenberg said  that Russia is an aggressor which has occupied Crimea, is supporting separatists in Donbass and carrying out cyber attacks against Ukraine.

Russia is demanding from NATO not to enlarge and break its promise given to Georgia and Ukraine back in 2008 on future membership.
