Spokesman of US State Dep: fewer can understand results of Russian aggression in Ukraine like Georgians

Spokesperson of the US Department of State Ned Price says that Georgians can understand the results of Russian aggression in Ukraine better than other nations as Georgia had already experienced Russian invasion.

Speaking for Georgia’s Mtavari Arkhi, Price said that the US has called on all countries to support not only Ukraine's sovereignty, but also a rule-based order.

He stated that Russia uses the same pattern of actions in Ukraine now it used in Georgia back in 2008.

“The principles that borders must remain inviolable and large states must not oppress small countries, that power is not equal to rights, are all at stake. Whether in Europe or in the Pacific, we adhere to these principles everywhere and call on countries to stand by Ukraine," Price said.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24 and has bombed its cities, killing civilians.
