Russian president: peace talks with Ukraine ‘at dead end’

Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday peace talks with Ukraine were ‘at dead end.’

Putin claimed the official Kyiv had staged the evidence of war crimes committed by Russian troops and maintained Russia would achieve its ‘noble’ aims in Ukraine.

The Russian president also dismissed the sanctions imposed by the west on his country, saying ‘that Blitzkrieg on which our foes were counting did not work.’
