Georgia receives $258 million in revenues in May from int’l tourism

The revenue from international tourism in May 2022 amounted to $258 million which was almost the same as before the pandemic back in 2019, a 95.6% recovery, the National Tourism Administration said on Friday.

 

The Tourism Administration noted that compared to May 2021, the revenue increased by $184 million (+ 250.4%).

 

The agency suggested that the incomes from international travelers between January and May amounted to $840 million.

 

Compared to January-May 2021, the  revenue from international tourism increased by $663 million  (+ 374.5%).
