At least three killed as Russians hit apartment building in Ukraine’s city of Mykolaiv

At least three people were killed and five others injured as a result of Russia's attack on a high-rise apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Mykolaiv on Wednesday.

City Mayor Oleksandr Senkevych called on residents to stay in shelters and asked them not to share photos on social media.

He suggested that eight missiles had hit the city, and urged residents to evacuate, adding that the building appeared to have been hit by a Russian X-55 cruise missile.

The Russian troops have periodically attacked the city since the invasion of Ukraine back in February of this year.
