First Georgian female enrols in US FBI National Academy

Anna Chakvetadze has become the first Georgian female officer to attend the FBI National Academy,the US Embassy to Georgia said on Friday. 

 

The Embassy stated that “we look forward to welcoming her back to Georgia where she will continue to help Georgia develop its law enforcement capacity”. 

 

The FBI Academy, dedicated to being the world’s premier law enforcement learning and research center and an advocate for law enforcement’s best practices worldwide, is operated by the Bureau’s Training Division, official webpage reads.

 

Situated on 547 acres within the immense Marine Corps Base in Quantico, Virginia, the FBI Academy is just one of many facets of the Training Division, whose work reaches far beyond the confines of the campus grounds, says the agency.
