Zelensky to Russian citizens: silence over Moscow’s aggression equals support

When evil reaches such a scale, silence approaches the level of complicity. If you have Russian citizenship and are silent, it means that you support it, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said onMonday in his video address.

"We are working on new sanctions against Russia and on stimulating the citizens of the terrorist state to feel part of the responsibility for what is happening. The discussion about visa restrictions in Europe for holders of Russian passports is expanding every day, with new states and new politicians joining it. Ultimately, this should lead to appropriate solutions”, Zelensly said.

He stressed that fighting against the Russian aggression by its own citizens was important.

“Wherever you are - both in Russia and abroad, your voice should be heard in support of Ukraine and, accordingly, against this war," Zelensky said.

Russia invaded Ukraine in February of this year.

Hostilities have been in progress since then.
