52,900 Russian troops killed in Ukraine since outbreak of hostilities- Kyiv

Nearly 52,900 military personnel have been killed in Ukraine since the outbreak of hostilities back in February of this year, the General staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Monday.

The state agency also said that the occupiers have lost about 2,168 tanks, 4,640 armored vehicles, 1,269 artillery systems, 311 MLRS, 162 air defense systems, 243 aircraft, 213 helicopters, 903 UAVs, 216 cruise missiles, 15 ships and boats, 3463 vehicles (including fuel tankers), and 117 units of special equipment since February 24. 

The General staff stressed that the Russians had suffered the “greatest” losses in Donetsk and Kryvyi Rih, the largest city in central Ukraine, over the past several days.
