Monthly supplement of military veterans increases to ₾100

Monthly supplement of military veterans has been increased from 22 GEL to 100 GEL, per the decision of the country’s Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and the current authorities, Koba Kobaladze, head of the state department of veterans, said on Monday, as the country marks Veterans Day.

Kobaladze said he was “proud”, as the PM had kept his promise over the increase.

Addressing the audience on the day, Garibashvili parised the role of veterans previously participating in several armed conflicts on the territory of Georgia and in international peace missions, stating that “it is our duty to properly appreciate your deeds”.

The prime minister claimed that his government would “stand by” veterans.
