Gov’t plans to allocate ₾70mln for concerts with “world-class” stars

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili on Monday said that in the next two years concerts of world-class stars would be held in the country in a bid to promote it as a tourist destination.

"We have a plan to bring world-class stars and artists to Georgia in the next two years. In June, July, August, early September, concerts of world-class artists will be held in the country - both at stadiums and at the Black Sea Arena. For this purpose, we will allocate 70 million GEL.

We have funds for this. I think it will attract more tourists and I think an interesting program will come out," he said.
