Anri Okhanashvili, the head of the Parliament's legal affairs committee from the ruling Georgian Dream party, on Friday dismissed reports that the Government has plans to revoke Georgian citizenship of the country’s nationals currently fighting in Ukraine as volunteers against Russia.
“It is disinformation and a dirty provocation of the United National Movement opposition party”, Okhanashvili said.
He claimed the “radical wing” of the domestic opposition has been engaged in “lies and provocations” since the outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine conflict in late February.
