President “very much biased” - ruling party MP

Mamuka Mdinaradze, the head of the ruling Georgian Dream party in the parliament, on Tuesday accused president Salome Zourabichvili of being ‘very much biased recently”.

The MP said he expected the president’s speech in the legislative body on Friday to also be biased.

The comment came following Zourabichvili’s critical comments to the authorities earlier this week over the case involving journalist Tatia Samkharadze and the founder of a pro-Governmental POSTV channel Shalva Ramiashvili, who was in 2018 found guilty for sexual harassment against the journalist.

The president has also many times slammed the government for its stance on the topics related to Ukraine.
