Russia claims US behind Kyiv’s “drone attack” on Kremlin

Moscow on Thursday claimed the US had backed what it said was Kyiv's drone attack on the Kremlin earlier this week to “kill” President Vladimir Purin.

Calling it a “terrorist attack”, Moscow has warned of “responding steps”, which ir said would be “reasonable and based on national interests”.

"Attempts to disown this, both in Kyiv and in Washington, are, of course, absolutely ridiculous. We know very well that decisions about such actions, about such terrorist attacks, are made not in Kyiv but in Washington," said Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov, adding “in Washington they must clearly understand that we know this”. Kyiv has rejected Moscow’s allegations.
