Kyiv identified states, ways Russia use to evade sanctions - Zelenskyy

Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Sunday claimed Kyiv had identified ways and the countries what he said Moscow was using to evade sanctions imposed on it for its ongoing aggression against Ukraine.

Zelensakyy pledged to take actions to “block the ways” for Russia, adding Russia, “a terrorist state”, had managed to circumvent the sanctions and maintained access to banned international technologies that he said Moscow used to produce weapons, including missiles.

"We see all the ways of circumventing the existing sanctions, all the countries whose territory or jurisdiction, whose citizens Russia uses to continue terror. [...] and we must close all these ways - together with our partners”, Zelenskyy said.

Kyiv earlier accused Tbilisi of ensuring aid to Russia to evade the sanctions, but has not backed the allegations with evidence so far.

The Georgian authorities have strongly condemned the allegations and accused Ukrainian authorities of taking actions to “drag Georgia’ into the ongoing conflict.
