Georgia has “EU’s full support” on its accession path - Charles Michel

Charles Michel, President of the European Council, stated on Wednesday said Georgia enjoyed “EU’s full support” on its path to becoming a bloc member and claimed the EU would help to implement all recommended reforms for opening accession talks.


In his social media post, the official also congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze, the newly appointed Prime Minister of Georgia, on his new role and addmited Georgia’s progress on its EU path. Further noted was “the historic decision” of the European Council last December to grant Georgia the EU candidacy.
