Opposition MP Dekanoidze slams Gov’t over lack of visa-free to US

Opposition MP Khatia Dekanoidze has placed the blame squarely on the Georgian Dream ruling power for the lack of visa-free travel to the US for Georgian citizens. Dekanoidze emphasised that the responsibility lies solely with the ruling party, saying, "Everyone should understand that the only Georgian Dream is responsible for the fact that the citizens of Georgia do not have visa-free travel with the US."

Dekanoidze also pointed out the double standard of GD members sending their children to study abroad while ordinary Georgian citizens “face isolation”. "For me, it is very important that on October 26, the will of the citizens of Georgia is reflected in the elections, and this will is the only way that Georgian Dream will be removed from power”.

She further criticised the ruling party's actions as “hypocritical and fraudulent”, highlighting the disparity in opportunities. "When you send your child to California or Chicago to study and graduate from university, but leave the children of Georgian citizens in Russia and in isolation, this is an action directed against the citizens of Georgia," Dekanoidze added.
