Former American President Donald Trump, who has appeared in several films, has left the Screen Actors Guild.
His statement was posted on the Guild's website.
"Your organization has done little for its members and nothing for me – except collecting contributions and promoting dangerous anti-American policies and ideas," – the ex-president said.
However, he indicated that he is proud of his participation in projects such as "Home Alone 2" and "Wall Street: Money Doesn't Sleep."
"I no longer want to be associated with your union. This letter informs you of my immediate withdrawal from SAG-AFTRA. You have not done anything for me," Donald Trump summed up.
In response, the Screen Actors Guild of the United States only wrote a short "Thank you".
