Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday opened the new Tengiz Tsertsvadze Infectious Diseases, AIDS and Clinical Immunology Research Center in Tbilisi’s Digomi district.
The 11-story facility, equipped with modern medical technology, aims to elevate healthcare standards and provide comprehensive on-site examinations, including emergency outpatient services.
Kobakhidze praised the late Tengiz Tsertsvadze’s “significant role” in planning the center, which includes advanced labs and diagnostic equipment.
The hospital, accommodating 83 beds, is set to enhance Georgia’s capabilities in treating infectious diseases.
