Georgian Government Administration reports that Prime Minister of Hungary and current President of the Council of the European Union, Viktor Orbán, will pay an official visit to Georgia on October 28-29.
On October 29, an official welcoming ceremony will be held at the Georgian Government Administration, where Orbán will be received by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. The two leaders will hold both private and expanded-format meetings, followed by joint statements to the media.
Prime Minister Orbán will be accompanied by a high-level Hungarian delegation, including Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, Minister of Economic Development Márton Nagy, Minister of Finance Mihály Varga, State Secretary János Máté, and other senior officials.
The visit is expected to focus on strengthening bilateral relations and exploring areas for cooperation in trade, economic development, and regional security.
