At least one person was killed and 30 were injured after Russian forces struck the Ukrainian city of Kharkiv with a guided aerial bomb on Wednesday night, according to local authorities.
The explosion caused several floors of a nine-story building to collapse in Kharkiv’s Saltiv district. A 12-year-old boy was reported among the fatalities, as confirmed by the Kharkiv District Military Administration.
Ukrainian President Zelenskyy released footage of the attack, emphasizing that international partners witness these strikes daily, with each decision they make impacting the frequency of such attacks on Ukraine.
Kharkiv, a frequent target of Russian aerial bombs, missiles, and drones, faces near-daily bombardment from occupying forces.
