The Central Election Commission (CEC) has finalized and published the results of Georgia’s October 26 parliamentary elections.
According to the official statement, the distribution of votes and mandates is as follows:
• Georgian Dream: 53.93% (89 mandates)
• Coalition for Change: 11.03% (19 mandates)
• Unity – United National Movement: 10.17% (16 mandates)
• Coalition Strong Georgia: 8.81% (14 mandates)
• For Georgia – Giorgi Gakharia’s Party: 7.78% (12 mandates)
The session was marked by tension and confrontation. At one point, commission member from United National Movement Davit Kirtaidze threw black liquid at CEC Chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili, causing a temporary suspension of the proceedings.
Despite the disruption, the CEC concluded its work and certified the election results.
