Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of the coalition Strong Georgia, stated that the US under any administration, including President-elect Donald Trump, would not tolerate kleptocracy or governance modeled after Russian-style authoritarianism.
“Trump and the United States will deal with Georgian Dream in a way that they will have no choice but to flee the country. No US president, let alone their administration, will accept kleptocracy or the Russian-style governance that Bidzina Ivanishvili has established in Georgia. All institutions have been seized, and the future of Georgians has been stolen through a scenario designed by Russia, robbing citizens of their voice and choice. This will ultimately end disastrously for the Georgian Dream,” Khazaradze remarked.
He emphasized that the international community, particularly the US, would not stand idly by as Georgia veers away from democratic values.
