Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has completed his official visit to Turkmenistan. At Ashgabat International Airport, he was seen off by Turkmenistan’s Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Nokerguly Ataguliyev. The Prime Minister summarized the visit during a media briefing.
According to Kobakhidze, one of Georgia’s key priorities is to enhance its role within the Middle Corridor, making cooperation with Turkmenistan particularly significant.
“Turkmenistan is a very important country for us, with which we share close and positive political cooperation. We discussed economic collaboration, and there is significant potential to strengthen our relations in this area. One of Georgia’s main objectives is to develop its role in the Middle Corridor, and cooperation with Turkmenistan plays a crucial role in this regard. We had discussions on specific topics related to economic cooperation, and ministers also held talks on concrete issues. Several important agreements were signed. We believe this visit will further enhance our partnership both politically and economically. The potential for economic cooperation is substantial, and we will devote special attention to its development,” Kobakhidze stated.
