Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has warned that Russian forces are preparing new offensives targeting the Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions, according to intelligence reports.
“Our intelligence indicates that Russia is preparing new attacks on Sumy, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia. They are stalling negotiations and trying to drag the US into endless, pointless discussions about fake ‘conditions’ just to buy time and seize more territory,” Zelenskyy stated.
He added that Russian President Vladimir Putin aims to negotiate from a position of strength, as he remains focused solely on war. “Our task—everyone’s task—is defense in the broadest sense. This includes continued military aid, but also investments, joint projects, and increased local production of defense equipment, from shells to drones and missiles,” Zelenskyy emphasized.
