Europe must be at the negotiating table to end the war, and the European Union should be represented by Great Britain and France, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a press conference following a meeting of EU leaders to discuss support for Ukraine.
According to the president, Ukraine’s position is very clear – Europe must be at the table to negotiate an end to the war.
“Europe is very large and must have clear representation. Today, we agreed that Europe will be represented by France and Great Britain, Macron and Starmer,” Zelenskyy stated, adding that this is a very important decision.
He also mentioned that Ukraine wants to convey its clear position to all other partners, including, of course, the United States.
