Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha has called for increased international pressure on Russia following another wave of devastating air attacks across the country.
In a post on X, Sybiha reported that Russian forces launched a massive assault early this morning, targeting Kyiv and multiple other cities with ballistic missiles, drones, and airstrikes.
“Ballistic missiles on Kyiv and other cities, swarms of missiles and drones in many regions, and an aviation bomb on a multi-story residential building in Kupiansk, resulting in injured civilians,” Sybiha wrote.
He emphasized that Russia has responded to US proposals for a full ceasefire not with diplomacy, but with “more missiles, drones, and bombs against Ukraine and its people.”
Calling on the international community, Sybiha declared: “Time for more pressure on Moscow.”
The statement comes amid heightened concern in Ukraine over the sustained aerial campaign by Russia and ongoing attacks on civilian infrastructure.
