At least one person has been killed and 15 others injured, including two children, in a Russian airstrike on the Ukrainian city of Zaporozhye, local officials say.
The attack occurred in the early hours of Tuesday after an air raid alert was issued across the Zaporozhye region at around 01:30 local time (23:30 GMT), warning of a possible guided missile strike. Explosions were reported shortly afterwards.
Ivan Fyodorov, the head of the regional administration, confirmed that a residential apartment building in the city had been damaged in the strike. Emergency services are continuing rescue and recovery operations at the site.
