Giorgi Tvauri has been appointed as the head of Georgia’s Levan Samkharauli National Forensic Bureau.
The announcement was made by the Government of Georgia following a meeting between Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Tvauri on Thursday. The Prime Minister wished him success in his new role, the Government press office said.
Tvauri previously held this position from 2012 to 2019. His experience includes serving as the Deputy Head of the General Inspection of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Director of the National Probation Agency, and Head of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Penitentiary, Probation, and Legal Assistance of Georgia.
