Georgia has reported 4,337 new cases of coronavirus of 53,681 tests, 3,137 recoveries and 42 deaths in the past 24 hours.
50,681 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
The country has had 703,281 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020, of which 642,701 have recovered, while 9,873 have died from the virus.
The new cases for Tbilisi and regions are as follows:
• Tbilisi – 1,412 cases
• Adjara – 115 cases
• Imereti – 873 cases
• Kvemo Kartli – 356 cases
• Shida Kartli – 362 cases
• Guria – 92 cases
• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 279 cases
• Kakheti – 614 cases
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 108 cases
• Samtskhe-Javakheti – 89 cases
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 37 cases
6,228 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today, while 43,457 others are at home.
1,961,165 individuals have received at least one jab of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 930,865 have been completely vaccinated since March 2021.
