The Coalition for Change has formally applied to the Parliament of Georgia requesting the withdrawal of mandates held by its 19 members.
All 19 members of the coalition, who currently hold parliamentary mandates, appeared in the parliament and submitted individual statements in relation to this decision, in protest of what they call the “rigged” October elections.
In a related development, the Central Election Administration has already canceled the party lists of Coalition for Georgia, Strong Georgia and Unity-National Movement.
Only Gakharia for Georgia has not requested the withdrawal of their party lists to request the termination of mandates.
