Georgian Culture Minister Tea Tsulukiani has stated that she ‘can not be serious’ on an alleged return of Georgia’s ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili.
“It’s funny Saakashvili is returning with his mom. Mom’s boy is coming back. I hope that I will not insult anyone with my reaction… I cannot be serious as well when Saakashvili claims that he is a founder of a modern Georgian state,” Tsulukiani said, who previously served as Georgia’s justice minister.
Saakashvili posted a photo yesterday of his reserved flight from Ukraine to Georgia for the evening of the October 2 municipal elections in Georgia.
PM Irakli Garibashvili said that ‘coward Saakashvili’ will be arrested if he really returns.
