Georgia has reported 1,929 new cases of coronavirus of 32,522 tests, 1,914 recoveries and 33 deaths in the past 24 hours.
19,521 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
The country has had 611,269 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020 of which 582,805 individuals have recovered, while 8,917 have died from the virus.
Most of the new cases were recorded in Tbilisi – 659, Adjara – 96, Imereti – 363 and Kvemo Kartli regions – 147.
1,774,769 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country since March 2021, of which 796,129 have been completely vaccinated.
More than 4,000 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals, while more than 14,000 Covid-19 patients are at home.
As daily coronavirus cases have decreased in the country, in-person studies will resume across Georgia starting October 4.
