“Stand together, and we will achieve victory,” declared Eric Otosson, Chairman of the Swedish Committee on EU Affairs, at a protest near the Georgian Parliament in Tbilisi. Addressing Georgians, he spoke about the importance of unity in Georgia’s pursuit of European integration, emphasizing that the path to Europe is a journey defined by the rule of law, human rights, and freedom.
Otosson noted that while Russian aggression may take many forms—beyond just tanks and bombs, sometimes creeping in through back doors, adding it is never too late for Georgia to continue its fight.
“I come from Sweden, a country that has known peace for 200 years. Russian aggression is not limited to tanks and bombs. Sometimes it enters through less obvious means. But for Georgia, it is never too late.
The battle for freedom is always worth fighting. Democracy is strongest when the people stand together, fighting for a future rooted in European values. Never give up, no matter the challenges. Stand united, and together we will achieve victory,” Otosson emphasized.
