European Council President António Costa has warned that Russia poses a threat to all European countries, regardless of their distance from Moscow.
“Naturally, Russia’s neighbors are the most concerned about its actions, but it is important for everyone to understand that this is a collective threat,” Costa stated.
He emphasized that, in the long run, European countries should focus not only on purchasing weapons but also on strengthening their industrial and technological base for defense production.
“The equipment we need now should be purchased wherever available—whether in Europe, South Korea, Japan, the United States, or Turkey,” he added.
