Fines are set to increase from ₾20 to ₾150 for taking a dog out in the open space – boulevards, parks and squares – without a leash or collar, a bill proposed by the ruling Georgian Dream party MPs reads.
Repeated violations will be fined ₾300 instead of ₾50. In addition, according to the amendments, in violation of the rules established by the self-governing body, keeping small and large cattle under supervision or without supervision will result in the owner being fined in the amount of ₾50 instead of ₾20.
Being in a boulevard, park, square or beach with small or large livestock under supervision or without supervision – will result in the owner being fined in the amount of ₾100 instead of the existing ₾50.
