For Georgia accuses three opposition groups of holding “confidential talks” with ruling party

Mikheil Daushvili, an MP of the For Georgia party, on Thursday accused the United National Movement, Lelo for Georgia and Strategy Agmashenebeli opposition groups of holding “confidential talks” with the ruling Georgian party amid their boycott to participate in a work with the GD for the country’s European Union membership candidate status.

Being criticized by the trio for participation in the work, Daushvili encouraged the parties to tell the public what was the “topic for trading” with the ruling party.

“When they [the three parties] were slamming us for participation in the work, they were holding secret meetings with the ruling party to make an achievement on some topics, with their voters and the public having no information about their move”, Daushvili said.

The three opposition parties claimed that the ruling party was not interested in receiving the EU candidacy and had been engaged in a parallel process for several months on.
