Georgia dominates Armenia 6:1 in Nations League play-off second leg

The Georgian national football team secured a resounding 6:1 victory over Armenia in the second leg of the UEFA Nations League play-off.

The match started with an early own goal from Armenia in the 4th minute, giving Georgia an early lead. Giorgi Mikautadze doubled the advantage in the 14th minute, followed by Giorgi Chakvetadze’s goal in the 23rd minute. Just three minutes later, Otar Kiteishvili added another, and soon after, Mikautadze completed his brace, making it 5:0 before halftime.

Armenia managed to pull one goal back in the second half, but in the 62nd minute, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia sealed the dominant victory with Georgia’s sixth goal.

Georgia had also won the first leg in Armenia with a 3:0 scoreline, securing an emphatic aggregate victory.
