Georgia and Moldova will receive questionnaires regarding their applications for European Union membership on Monday, Oliver Varhelyi, the European Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, said earlier today.
Varhelyi noted that Ursula von der Leyen, the President of the European Commission, had already handed over the questionnaire to Ukraine, as the latter is also applying for EU membership.
“The answers will help the European Commission to prepare opinions on EU applications of the three countries,” he explained.
Varhelyi added he would hand over the questionnaires to Georgia and Moldova by himself.
