Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported on Tuesday that starting from September 30, 2024, Georgian citizens will be able to travel visa-free to the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China.
“Based on the decision of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, Georgian citizens will be allowed to travel visa-free to Hong Kong and stay in the region for up to 30 consecutive days.
The agreement on visa-free travel was made possible through active cooperation between the Georgian and Hong Kong authorities.
It is noteworthy that due to its status as a special administrative region, Hong Kong has an independent immigration and visa policy,” the statement reads.
Since May 28, Georgian citizens have also been able to travel visa-free to mainland China.
