Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani recently visited the Federal Republic of Germany to participate in the 24th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group. The meeting, held at Ramstein Air Base on Friday, brought together defense leaders from around the world to discuss the current situation in Ukraine and the need for coordinated military assistance to the country.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group was established in April 2022 at the initiative of the United States and now includes over 50 nations committed to supporting Ukraine. During the meeting, participants focused on assessing the latest developments in Ukraine and strategizing the delivery of military aid to help counter Russian aggression.
The Contact Group serves as a key platform for international cooperation, ensuring that Ukraine receives the necessary military and logistical support from its allies.
