Georgian MP from Citizens party Aleko Elisashvili says that he has left for Ukraine to fight there for sovereignty and the territorial integrity of the country.
“I have never been indifferent. I have been unable to live in the way of turning a blind eye to someone’s grief and suffering. Now Ukraine, the Ukrainians who have shared our bad and good days, are in trouble, fighting against our common enemy,” Elisashvili posted on Facebook.
“I could not watch this fight from a distance. That’s why I’m here, in Ukraine in the Foreign Legion of Volunteer Fighters. We must defeat the enemy. Glory to Ukraine! Glory to Georgia! ” he said.
