Nika Gvaramia, leader of the Coalition for Changes, on Monday claimed the Russian foreign intelligence lacked the capability to alter any situation in the country in light of the October general elections.
He noted that both Russian military intelligence and the Georgian government were echoing similar sentiments about their Western partners.
“When the most aggressive and clearly anti-Georgian entity, Russian military intelligence, and the Georgian government are using the same rhetoric to criticize the West, particularly targeting the United States, it speaks for itself. Russia’s foreign intelligence cannot change anything,” said Gvaramia.
This statement follows a claim by the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service, alleging that the United States was dissatisfied with the situation in Georgia ahead of the elections and is planning a “color revolution” in the country.
