Georgian parliament speaker Shalva Papuashvili and senior MPs – Nikoloz Samkharadze and Archil Talakvadze – have arrived in the Croatian city of Zagreb to attend the inaugural Crimea Platform Parliamentary Summit focused on Russia’s aggression against Ukraine on Tuesday.
Samkharadze said that Georgia had been invited to the event as a county supporting Ukraine.
Delegations from about 50 countries and institutions have been invited to participate in the inaugural summit.
In parallel with the main program – the plenary session – the Summit will also host discussion panels for parliamentarians from various countries, Croatian government officials, Ukrainian government officials, international experts, and media personas.
