After several days of discussions between Georgian political parties, a parliamentary delegation was finally formed late yesterday which is expected to leave for Ukraine today or tomorrow.

Along with Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili, the delegation from the Georgian Dream (GD) ruling party will include Vice-Speaker Davit Sergeenko and the head of the parliamentary group on friendship with Ukraine Archil Talakvadze.

The parliamentary opposition will be represented by five MPs: Levan Ioseliani, Vice-Speaker from the Citizens Party, Giorgi Khojevanishvili, MP from the Party for Georgia, Khatuna Samnidze, Chairwoman of the Parliamentary Reforms Group; Anna Natsvlishvili from Lelo and Vakhtang Megrelishvili from Girchi party.

The largest parliamentary faction – United National Movement – Power is in Unity – has refused to visit the country as part of the delegation.
