“We require strong leadership in the West, willing to make decisive and bold choices,” Nikoloz Samkharadze, the chair of the Foreign Relations Committee in the Georgian Parliament told the inaugural Paris Defense and Strategy Forum, drawing decision-makers, politicians, and experts from across Europe.
“The Paris Defense and Strategy Forum stands as a pinnacle event, convening military and security experts alongside officials from various European nations. I had the privilege of participating in the panel focused on ‘Europe’s new borders,’ which delved into the EU enlargement policy. Hence, the presence of the Georgian Parliament delegation holds significant importance. We are grateful to the French organizers for extending the invitation to us as distinguished speakers, allowing us to share our perspectives with our international counterparts,” stated Samkharadze.
Organized jointly by the French Parliament, the Ministry of Defense, and the Schuman Foundation, the forum serves as a platform for discussions on military and security matters.
Heading the delegation of the Foreign Relations Committee is its chairman, Nikoloz Samkharadze, accompanied by Mariam Lashkhi, the first deputy chairman, and Grigol Vashadze, a committee member.
